Adire Oodua
At the heart of Yoruba culture lies a textile tradition that has inspired generations. Adire Oodua Textile Hub exists to ensure that tradition continues to inspire generations to come.
Founded in 2020 by Olori Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi, the Hub has become one of Nigeria's leading centres for preserving, developing and promoting the heritage of Adire and Aso-Oke textiles. Based in the historic city of Ile-Ife, the birthplace of the Yoruba people, the Hub combines education, craftsmanship and cultural tourism to safeguard centuries-old dyeing and weaving techniques while creating new opportunities for artisans and designers.
Through skills training, artisan development and collaborations with universities, fashion designers and international organisations, Adire Oodua Textile Hub is building a new generation of textile innovators. By blending ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary design, the Hub continues to position authentic African textiles at the forefront of global fashion.
Returning to Africa Fashion Week London 2026, Adire Oodua Textile Hub celebrates the artistry, innovation and enduring legacy of Yoruba textiles—proving that heritage remains one of Africa's greatest luxury exports.
