AduAmani brings culture, craft, and storytelling into powerful contemporary focus at AFWL2026. Founded by Ghanaian multidisciplinary creative Vera Adu-Amaning, the work moves beyond fashion into immersive cultural expression — exploring identity, migration, sustainability, and heritage through textiles and installation.
Her acclaimed project Shades of Fugu reimagines the traditional Northern Ghanaian Fugu not simply as clothing, but as a living archive of memory, movement, and connection. Through texture, form, and spatial storytelling, Vera transforms cloth into conversation — bridging past and present with striking contemporary vision.
Working across exhibition, community engagement, and cultural collaboration, AduAmani stands at the intersection of heritage and innovation, creating work that feels both deeply personal and globally relevant.
