Sissymeme Couture
Sissymeme Couture is a bespoke womenswear label founded by Nigerian-born fashion designer Isimeme Mary Omole (MO), whose tailoring journey began over a decade ago during her time as an Estate Management student at Obafemi Awolowo University, where Mo struggled to find well-fitting outfits as a petite woman with a unique body type. She quickly turned that challenge into a skill; she taught herself to sew, first learning to tailor her clothes during long university strikes in Nigeria, trained under mentors, and simply transformed a necessity into an enduring passion.
Since founding Sissymeme Couture, Mo has trained aspiring fashion professionals at Sissymeme Fashion Academy while crafting exquisite custom pieces for women of class and has built a reputation for clean, structured, and elegant designs.
